By the time a puppy is 7 to eight weeks
old we want them to have:
A) Been on many different surfaces:

- Concrete

- Grass
- Dirt
- Gravel
- Water
- Newspaper Etc.
B) Played with many different types of
objects:
- Big Balls
- Small Balls
- Soft Fabric Toys
- Fuzzy Balls
- Squeaky Toys
- Metal Items
- Wooden Items
- Paper/Cardboard Items
- Milk/Soda Jugs
Etc.
C) Been in many different locations:
- Front Yard
- Back Yard
- Schutzhund club
- Tracking field
- Car
- Kitchen
- Living room
- Bathroom
- Crate
- Kennel Etc.
D) Been exposed to many different
challenges:
- Walking on raised surfaces
- Going thru a doggie door
- Go thru a tunnel
- Go up and down steps
- Go up ramps and down them
- Climb over obstacles
- Catching a moving object
- Go in & out doorway with a step Etc.
E) Eaten from different containers:
- Metal
- Plastic
- Cardboard
- Paper
- Glass
F) Eaten in different locations:
- Crate
- Yard
- Kitchen
- Kennel
- At the schutzhund club
- Tracking field
- X-pen Etc.
G) Met and played with new people:
- Most importantly children & the elderly
